  • ADDAX Minerals and my Mom

An Addax Minerals agent came into Solona Heights one day in April and offered the local elderly refugee home owners a $1500 lump sum check for the "Mineral Deed" to their property. Averagae acreage is about .279 acres = $1500.

The issue I had is that my mother did not know that she was selling her oil/gas mineral rights for $1500. I went to one of the neighborhood meetings after she showed me her check, and after reading the contract, realized that it was not a lease, but a contract to sell the Mineral Deed (gas/oil) for $1500.

I told my mom this, and her heart sank. She knew that she this was not what she wanted. She said that she did not know she was selling her Mineral Deed.

  • ADDAX please rescind the contract

Ryan Watts and Addax Minerals. I know you guys don't need the Mineral Deeds of one little old lady that badly. She admits she signed the papers for the $1500 checks. She also admits that she did not know it was for the rights to her Mineral Deed.

She pleaded with The Acquisition Agent Lenon Williams, who cut her the check, to please cancel the contract. But his reply was to contact the president of Addax Minerals.

So, we are at this juncture.

I do my research to help out my elderly mom and find that there are lots of news and stories and neighborhood groups formed related to the Barnett Shale:
